La Pointe du Raz
The place most visited of Brittany...
Located at the extreme west of the Cap Sizun, the Pointe du Raz is the theatre of the eternal combat between the water and the rocks.
The waves beat against the granite and jour after jour they create a savage and angular coast.
Like the prow of a ship, this extraordinaire cliff height difference of 72 meters plunges into the sea.
At the top, the Pointe du Raz offers a panorama view of the Raz du Sein with his island de Sein , the lighthouses de la Vielle and Tévennec and a little far away the lighthouse Ar Men, the most remote of the French coasts.
To preserve the unique wilderness character of the Pointe du Raz, ranked Grand Site since 2004, the necessary measures have been taken (parking at the entrance, marked trails and security, revegetation) to preserve this unique site for future generations of visitors.
