Concarneau

Most known guarded city of Finitère...

With his Ville-Close built by Vauban at a little island, at the bottom of a protected bay, Concarneau is unlike any other city in Bretagne.

Cross the drawbridge, admire the antique sundial, stroll through the narrow streets and stroll on the ramparts of the walled city which offer stunning views of the skyline.

Concarneau is also an active fishing harbor, a marina for lovers of the sea and the beautiful coves and sandy beaches that invite relaxation and water activities, at one of the Bretagne’s most beautiful bays.

Unmissable summer: Festival of the Blue Nets. Originally, a solidarity party with the families of the poorest fishermen, this party has turned into a festival to become a living showcase of Breton culture and heritage ... “bagadous” parades, celtic music and chants marines, shows, traditional “poissonnades” and an election of the Queen of the Festival!
